With a NIASA safe water disposal scheme implemented nationwide there is a real need to manager a now scarce resource. It is now mandatory to treat used water to render it harmless and kill pathogens and other organisms before disposal.
Ozone is an ideal way to achieve this, as ozone can effectively disinfect water of crop-harmful bacteria, virus and fungi. By capturing the run off irrigation water, re-ozonated water can be recycled. Since ozone leaves no residue the final dumping on the land of spent water will cause no environmental hazard.
With talk of a "user-pays system" it makes sense to make full use of the water that has to be purchased, added to this is the suggestion and incentive from water boards that cheaper water could be provided to those who recycle. Ozonated water is an ideal way to achieve all of these requirements.
